Nicorette Extreme Chill Gum 2 mg delivers a powerful blast of menthol-mint freshness to help fight nicotine cravings and withdrawal symptoms. Each piece of nicotine polacrilex gum (2 mg per piece, 30 pieces per pack) is part of a stop-smoking program designed to help you quit for good.
How nicotine replacement therapy works: Nicotine gum delivers a controlled, lower dose of nicotine to ease cravings while you break the behavioral habit of smoking. Over time, you taper down the dose until you no longer need it.
Who 2 mg is for: Adult smokers who smoke fewer than 25 cigarettes per day, or who have their first cigarette more than 30 minutes after waking up. Heavy smokers should choose 4 mg.
Chew technique (important): Chew slowly until you feel a tingly or peppery taste, then "park" the gum between your cheek and gum. When the taste fades, chew again. Repeat for 30 minutes. Do not chew like regular gum — it works through the lining of your mouth, not your stomach.
Recommended schedule: One piece every 1–2 hours for the first 6 weeks, then taper. Do not exceed 20 pieces per day. Avoid acidic drinks (coffee, juice, soft drinks) 15 minutes before and during use.
